Data Hack 2015: British Spies To Be Given Legal Authority To Hack Into Personal Data?

According to a recent report, British Government has raised a bill pleading to its Parliament in allowing British spies to hack PC's and mobile phones. They will be given an authority to get into the personal data of users, including mobile phones and personal computers.
The bill is raised, and if the same gets its nod in the Parliament, then it is sure going to revolutionize and modernize the law of surveillance, Business Insider reported. It will provide a legal foundation and will allow government to hack or get an instant access to devices so as to gain information.

Getting into personal data is not anything new to British spies. The same issue was done even before, and now, they could do the same with the help of legal support. Such approaches were based on the Intelligence Services Act that was passed in the year 1994. This act talks about the rights, in general term as "property," and there were nothing mentioned about computers or mobile phones in it.
But the new investigatory bill waiting to be passed in the Parliament has a clear cut mention and framework on how to use the law and will sure function as a legal framework when it comes to surveillance. David Anderson, who works as an Independent reviewer, said that the new law is set to open fresh array of possibilities to people working in the security and surveillance agency.
However, according to RT, the revelation has also invited huge criticism and it waits to be noted if Parliament will pass the bill or deny the authorization of British spies getting instant access to devices' user data.
