Tennessee Cop Involved in High-Speed Crash Seen Speeding Again
A violent crash between a speeding cop car and an SUV, whose driver was left horrifically injured, was not part of a chase or a police emergency. The officer was simply heading home. The 2017 incident left 70-year-old Tennessee resident James Cryer, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, permanently disabled. “I thought we were going to die,” Cryer's wife, Rena, a passenger in the car, told Inside Edition. It's a struggle for the Cryers to watch the video of the incident that altered their lives.
