What makes a potato a man or a woman? Is it the presence of a moustache — or is it simply a name for a spud?
Hasbro is rebranding its decades-old line of Mr. Potato Head toys to make them a single, gender-neutral doll with swappable limbs and accessories, in a move slated to take effect later this year.
Hasbro says it’s making the change to give the toy a modern makeover, amid a broader push toward more inclusivity in the toy industry.The toy will be rebranded as Potato Head, without prefixes. Hasbro says it will release a new Potato Head playset in the fall that will allow children to assemble their own type of family,

A South Florida woman is suing her community after she was fined more than $100,000 for, according to city officials, parking incorrectly in her own driveway over the course of a year.
A woman named Sandy Martinez found herself the target of what appears to be a lazy and vicious campaign of harassment from local government officials in Lantana, Florida, after she attempted the impossible logistics of parking four cars at a house with a narrow driveway — and that’s a house which she actually owns.

In the community of Lac-Sainte-Marie, Que., About an hour’s drive north of Ottawa, one of the easiest ways to anger local residents is to ask them about their internet connections. Whether it’s a wireless service, satellite provider, or copper wire, the common response is that it is frustrating and sometimes impossible to work from home, take kids to online classes, or watch movies. Adding to the frustration is the fact that a small segment of the community is digitally living in a different world, having connected with Bell Fibe over the past few months. What makes matters worse, according to some, is the fact that Bell CEO Mirko Bibic owns one of the cottages on the southern part of Lake Pemichangan ̵ While the area is officially one of the poorest in Quebec, some of the cottages along Pemichangan are worth over $ 1 million. Many owners have primary residences in Ontario or the United States. Approximately 100 households on Pemichangan, most of the cottages and houses on the south side of the lake, have high-speed access via Bell Fibe – a service currently used for hundreds of other homes in and around Lac-Sainte-Marie parish. And one that was made even more important by the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown orders. Tiger Woods injured in major rollover car crash
Tiger Woods was injured in a car crash Tuesday morning, according to the LA County Sheriff's Office. Police said Woods, 45, was the only person in the vehicle. The roll-over crash happened on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Pales Verdes near Los Angeles, California.

Two More Cast Members From Netflix's 'Cheer' Arrested on Sexual Misconduct Charges

The news comes just months after cheerleader Jerry Harris was arrested on child pornography charges.
Two more athletes featured in Netflix‘s documentary series Cheer have been arrested on charges related to sexual misconduct involving minors. The news comes just months after Navarro College cheerleader Jerry Harris was accused of soliciting nude photos from minors, and later charged with seven additional child pornography-related crimes.
A second Navarro cheerleader, Mitchell Ryan, was arrested last Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual assault against a minor, according to a report by CNN. Cheer coach and choreographer Robert Joseph Scianna Jr. is charged with “taking indecent liberties with a child and using an electronic communication device to solicit sex.” Chesterfield County Police said Scianna planned to meet and have sex with a child he knew through social media.
Though Netflix has not responded to Ryan and Scianna’s arrests, the streaming platform released a statement regarding Harris’s case: ”Any abuse of minors is a terrible crime and we respect the legal process,” a representative told Today.
