Plane carrying Post Malone, 15 others makes emergency landing after blowing tires during takeoff at Teterboro Airport
A private plane carrying rapper Post Malone successfully made an emergency landing after blowing out two tires while taking off from New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport just before 11 a.m. ET Tuesday, according to a tweet from NYC Aviation. The plane was taking Malone and 15 others to London after his Monday night appearance at the MTV Music awards, Fox News reported, where he won song of the year for “Rockstar.” Immediately after the tires blew, TMZ added, the pilot radioed asking for permission to circle above. Air traffic control reportedly told the pilot to burn more fuel and fly to Massachusetts instead, which could make for a safer crash landing. The plane circled both the New Jersey and Connecticut area for hours to deplete its fuel stores, and was later rerouted to Stewart Airport, about 70 miles north of New York City, where it made a safe, successful landing at about 4 p.m. ET http://www.tmz.com/2018/08/21/post-malone-plane-crash-landing-blew-tires-mtv-vma/
