Nashville-based guitar maker Gibson
wants to help musicians impacted by the deadly tornadoes that struck
Middle Tennessee earlier this week.
Gibson
Gives, a nonprofit wing of the global guitar brand, plans to donate
guitars to players with damaged or destroyed instruments as a result of
the early Tuesday storm, a news release said.
Guitarists needing instrument replacement can reach the Gibson Gives Recovery Plan at donation.request@gibson.com.
"Guitars
will be provided at Gibson’s sole discretion based on proof of damage
or loss," the release said. "Replacement guitars may be demo models,
prototypes, or shop worn across Gibson’s family of guitar brands."
