Ice Cube gives up major movie role — and $9 million payday — after refusing to get COVID vaccine

The artist had partnered with comedic actor and musician Jack Black for the movie back in June, and the duo were supposed to begin filming in Hawaii this winter.
But then the producers, Matt Tolmach and the aforementioned Black, requested that all cast on the film get vaccinated.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ice Cube walked away from the project following the order that he get jabbed.
Not only did he leave behind a significant role for a major motion picture, the rapper also left $9 million on the table, according to Rolling Stone.
The project had already been delayed following an injury Black suffered while filming a gag for Conan O’Brien’s final episode of “Conan.” Now the movie’s filming date is up in the air as Sony and Black search for a replacement for Ice Cube.
The rapper’s personal representative and his agency, WME, declined to comment to the outlet. Sony and the producers also offered no comment.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, a July agreement between guilds and studios gives producers the option “to implement mandatory vaccination policies for casts and crew in Zone A [where the groups work in close proximity] on a production-by-production basis.”
Rapper and COVID stories
This isn’t first COVID-related story to involve Ice Cube.
In June 2020, the rapper got in hot water for, according to the Sun, spreading “conspiracies” about the corona virus, Bill Gates, and vaccines on social media.
Ice Cube shared a Gates meme on social media pointing out that the Microsoft founder is “not a doctor,” “not an epidemiologist,” “not a virologist,” but “owns virus patents” and “owns vaccine companies.” The artist’s posts, the Sun said, “fueled the conspiracy theory about Gates wanting to inject microchips in COVID-19 vaccines to track people.”
He also posted warnings to fans about ventilators and doctors and also demanded that medical professionals “tell the truth” about the corona virus, the Sun reported.
But not all of the coverage of Ice Cube’s response to COVID-19 has not been negative. In August, he was lauded for donating thousands of face masks to students at Oklahoma’s Bacone College.

You may be tempted to criticize Mr. Hurley for not leaving the premises immediately when told to do so, but put yourself in his position. Wouldn't you feel that you had a right to voice your opinion on the matter as you were forcibly removed from your place of employment?
Apparently, someone in a position of high authority at UCLA Medical Hospital in Los Angeles has sent a memo to supervisors instructing them to not only fire all personnel who have not taken a COVID-19 experimental shot, but to wait until they show up for work and are working with their patients, and then to physically escort them out of the hospital publicly shaming them, and treating them like criminals.
We are talking about medical professionals who have spent their careers working for one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the world, who are now being treated like they are criminals for refusing to risk their lives for an experimental vaccine that neither stops transmission, nor reduces risk of death, but instead provides great risk of life-long injuries or death.
UCLA could have privately contacted them and told them not to show up for work, or waited until their shift was over before taking away their badge and sending them home, or any other of numerous methods to treat these medical professionals with dignity for standing up for their values and beliefs, but instead they chose to make an example of them, and treat them like public criminals.
The criminal pharmaceutical companies are now running the show with their billionaire Wall Street pedophiles, turning this country into one large satanic ritual to impose their beliefs and values on everyone else.
This has nothing to do with "science," and everything to do with a religious cult that they are working hard to enforce on every single person in this country.

SAN REMO, IMPERIA – An 18-year-old teen was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome 15 days after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Riccardo Ventre got the shot on September 28th. He began to have multiple symptoms shortly afterward. He was hospitalized at a hospital in Imperia where he was diagnosed with GBS. His mother is now seeking answers for her son’s health problems.
“My son had his first vaccination on September 28th for work reasons,” – says Katia, the young man’s mother – “until he was 17, I managed to keep him off the vaccine because I am afraid of it, but then he turned 18 and was forced by his job to do take it,” she explains. “He had very strong pain in his legs just a few days later, for this reason, we took him immediately to the emergency room in Imperia. He has never had any of these symptoms before, it all happened suddenly.
On the first day in the hospital, his arms and legs were able to move, on the second day, they could hardly move and on the third day, they couldn’t move at all. He has then been diagnosed with Guillain-Barrรฉ syndrome. Currently, he is stuck on his hospital bed and when we try to pull him up he cannot stand, he has to be supported to stand up.
It is not certain if Riccardo will ever recover: “They told me anything can happen, it’s a lottery” – says the mother. “They told me that in these cases he could end up very badly as well, that is, he either recovers completely or not at all, so the doctors don’t refrain themselves from giving us a prognosis until they see his reactions to the treatments.”
Katia, desperate for answers, has also turned to doctors outside Imperia hospital.

70-year-old arrested after refusing to leave daughter’s side at Florida hospital – Cleveland, Ohio
A 70-year-old former Ohio General Assembly was arrested and banned in a Florida hospital after refusing to leave his daughter’s bedside.
Amber Savage refused to leave UF Health North on October 4, after the visit time was over, according to reports of arrests and reservations from the Sheriff’s Office in Jacksonville.
Savage’s daughter was recovering from surgery at the time.
Savage said he understood why police were called to warn of trespassing, but “she said she had to be forcibly taken away.”
Savage, a 20-year retired deputy at the Stark County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio, was reportedly supportive when arrested, but “she was forced if something happened to her daughter. Refused to be discharged on the principle of being discharged to her side. ”
She was banished from the property for a year.

Canon sued for $5 million for disabling scanner when printers run out of ink

David Leacraft, of New York, recently filed a class-action complaint against Canon U.S.A., Inc. In the lawsuit, Mr. Leacraft asserts that when he purchased a Canon all-in-one printer, he was misguided by the advertising Canon used saying its printer was in fact a multi-function device. The printer he is referring to is a Canon Pixma MG2522
In the complaint it says that the issue stems from the fact that once the printer in question reaches low or no ink status, the scan and fax functions are not available to use. Leacraft says this negates the claim that the printer is a multi-function device, but rather a single-function device if the printer has no ink.
In a 2016 post on Canon’s community website Canon responded to a user explaining why this happens. They posted, “These precautions are in place to prevent damage to the printer from occurring if printing with no ink is attempted. The printer uses the ink to cool the printhead during the printing process. If no ink is present, the printhead could be damaged or the unit would require service.”
The claim says that it is a “design issue” by Canon and not a precautionary step. People purchase Canon products because of their excellent reputation and quality and Canon should have either designed the printer to not disable the other functions when the ink was out (the “design issue”) or made it clear that this would be the case.
Leacraft argues in the lawsuit that on Canon’s website the company says that various versions of its all-in-one printers are advertised as “Versatile Printing, Copying & Scanning,” and can “Simply print, copy, and scan”. Pictures of the box for his printer also show images that the printer is capable of multi-functions.
It will be interesting to see where the courts fall on this issue. As a consumer, one wants to be warned of all the caveats a product may have before purchasing. This helps ensure a smooth purchasing experience. The company, however, is often left deciding what information to include and exclude as it markets its product.
