An American woman has been taken to hospital for an evaluation after having what appeared to be a mental health episode in the departure hall at the Sangster International Airport in St. James on Tuesday.

Another policeman was seen pulling what appeared to be a taser from his waistband in an attempt to subdue the woman. She was eventually pinned to the floor and handcuffed.
