An American woman has been taken to hospital for an evaluation after having what appeared to be a mental health episode in the departure hall at the Sangster International Airport in St. James on Tuesday.
The woman is a 39-year-old dentist from Las Vegas, Nevada. Senior
Advisor and Strategist in the Ministry of Tourism, Delano Seiveright
credited the police for their work in dealing with the matter.

In the video, the woman is seen screaming profanities and attacking a female friend she was traveling with. The woman removed her clothes from the waist down and appeared to urinate in the departure hall, as stunned passengers along with airport and airline staff looked on.
She grabbed her pubic area and appeared to reach for the weapon of a policeman who attempted to restrain her. Another policeman was seen pulling what appeared to be a taser from his waistband in an attempt to subdue the woman. She was eventually pinned to the floor and handcuffed. She was quickly dressed in a pair of shorts as she lay face down on the floor, shouting obscenities at the police.
