The COVID-19 mRNA vaccines can change the microRNA (miRNA) expression

The miRNA regulates the gene expression. Research showed that people with adverse effects from Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines had circulating exosomes with miRNA. One that stands out is miR-92a-2-5p, which controls the expression of an enzyme, peroxirredoxine 2 (PRXII). People carrying miR-92a-2-5p-containing exosomes will more likely have a PRXII overexpression. PRXII overexpression is associated with a wide range of cancers. Watch Prof. Karina Acevedo-Whitehouse's arguments on the potential mechanisms by which the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines can lead to cancer.
