Several milk products made in Bedford recalled for possible glass

The makers of several brands of milk and dairy-free products are recalling cartons after an investigation found possible glass in some items.

Agropur is voluntarily recalling some milk products made at its Bedford plant after a consumer complaint triggered an internal investigation, which “identified a potential risk for the presence of material resembling glass in certain products.”

The company said the situation is now under control as the investigation continues.

Brands of milk, including Farmers, Québon and Natrel are impacted by the recall. The best before dates range from March 26 to May 15, and are impacting both 1%, 2% and 3.25% products in the 2 litre cartons.

The products are being recalled across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and nationally.
