A major battle over Canada's natural health products industry is intensifying as Conservative MP Blaine Calkins and Shawn Buckley of the Natural Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA) challenge the federal government's regulatory framework. At the centre of the controversy is Bill C-224, which seeks to change how vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements and other natural health products are regulated.
