St. Louis Cop Kills Unarmed Black Man, Plants A Gun On Him. Judge Rules No Wrongdoing.

Six years ago, a white St. Louis Police officer Jason Stockley, 36, shot and killed Anthony Lamar Smith, then 24, in a car chase following a suspected drug transaction. During the pursuit, Stockley is heard saying, “Going to kill this (expletive deleted), don’t you know it,”. The pursuit ended in a crash and Stockley then shot and killed Smith, who Stockley says had a gun. A gun was recovered from inside Smith's but Prosecutors said Stockley “executed” Smith and planted a gun in Smith’s car to justify killing him; the defense said Stockley defended himself against an armed drug suspect who appeared to be reaching for a gun when Stockley shot him five times
