ABC: TV Weatherman Pleading Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — New details in the case of former 10TV meteorologist Mike Davis reveal he plans to plead guilty to child porn charges but is also asking the court to keep him out of jail.
Davis, 60, had never been charged with a crime until last September when nearly 16,000 images of child porn were found in his possession.
He has since been charged with three counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, felonies in the second degree, and one count of possession of sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a felony in the fourth degree. If convicted, Davis could face up to 25 years in prison.
On Thursday, Davis’ lawyer submitted a motion hoping the court considers intensive behavioral sentencing instead of jail time.
