Coronavirus outbreak: Plane carrying Canadians from Diamond Princess cruise lands in Ontario
A plane carrying Canadians evacuated from the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan landed at CFB Trenton in Ontario early Friday morning with approximately 129 on board who had spent nearly two weeks on the vessel. The ship had been quarantined since Feb. 3 at the port of Yokohama, near Tokyo, over concerns about COVID-19. Since the ship was quarantined, 634 passengers have tested positive, making it the largest outbreak of the virus outside China, with 47 Canadians among those who will have to remain in Japan for treatment. https://globalnews.ca/news/6576504/canadian
