Melissa Etheridge’s 21-year-old son, Beckett, has died.
The singer/songwriter cancelled her Concerts From Home Facebook Live show on Wednesday evening to mourn her son’s passing.
A note posted on her official Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon read: “We’re sad to inform you that Melissa’s son Beckett passed away and there will not be a Concerts From Home show today.”
Beckett is Melissa’s child from her relationship with filmmaker Julie Cypher. The couple split in 2000.
His biological father was rock icon David Crosby.
