Hurricane Lee: concern flooding may cut Nova Scotia off from rest of Canada

Concerns surrounding the potential flooding of the Chignecto Isthmus passage are being raised prior to Hurricane Lee making landfall on Canada’s east coast. Repairs of the land passageway that connects the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia have been called upon for years by Canadians who live nearby to it. If the trade corridor floods it could have nationwide repercussions on the economy. Hurricane Lee is predicted to make landfall in Nova Scotia Saturday evening.
