At a Wednesday briefing, the province's chief medical officer of health said the decision was made on "caution, science and the availability of alternative mRNA vaccines from Pfizer or Moderna."

"With the national and global concern around the serious side effect, VITT, it is the best solution to move people who were to get AstraZeneca to receive mRNA vaccines instead," said Dr. Robert Strang.

"As we move these bookings to Pfizer and Moderna as soon as possible, I ask for patience for those who will have their appointments cancelled, then rebooked. You will get vaccinated soon."

On Tuesday, Nova Scotia lowered the eligibility age for Pfizer or Moderna to include anyone aged 40 and up, which means anyone who qualified for an AstraZeneca vaccine now also qualifies for an mRNA vaccine.

Premier Iain Rankin said over 1,000 people have cancelled existing AstraZeneca appointments in favour of rebooking to get an alternative.

Nova Scotia has received 60,000 AstraZeneca doses, and as of the end of day yesterday, 57,576 people had received one.

Rankin said a decision on which vaccine those Nova Scotians will get for their second dose is still pending.

"There is a global study underway to determine if an individual who took their first dose of AstraZeneca can mix their second dose with either Pfizer or Moderna," he explained. "That is an important piece of science that we're awaiting.

Once the National Advisory Committee on Immunization has more information on that, Nova Scotia will follow its guidance. Strang said that could come by early June.

The province says anyone with any of the following symptoms after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine should seek medical help right away or call 911 and say they have received the vaccine:

shortness of breath
chest pain
stomach pain that will not go away
leg swelling
a sudden and severe headache
a headache that will not go away and is getting worse
blurred vision
skin bruising (other than the area vaccinated), reddish or purplish spots, or blood blisters under the skin

Those symptoms are most likely to occur between days four and 14 after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.

(Update) Germany reports more blood clot cases in people being administered AstraZeneca COVID vaccine

BERLIN: Germany's medical regulator says it has received reports of 21 cases of rare blood clots in people who had recently received AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine.

The Paul Ehrlich Institute said in an email Monday to The Associated Press that seven people affected by the blood clots have died.

The incidence of an unusual form of blood clot in the head, known as sinus vein thrombosis, prompted several European countries to temporarily halt the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine earlier this month.

After a review by medical experts, the European Union's medical regulator EMA recommended that warnings about possible rare side effects should be added to the vaccine information provided for patients and doctors.

Most EU countries have since resumed use of the vaccine.

The Paul Ehrlich Institute said that of the 21 cases reported in Germany until March 25, 12 also involved an abnormally low level of platelets in the patients' blood.

Of the 21 cases, 19 were in women ages 20 to 63, while two were in men ages 36 and 57.

During the period covered by the reports, some 2.27 million first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine were administered in Germany.

New Brunswick confirms its first blood clot death linked to AstraZeneca vaccine

FREDERICTON, N.B. - A New Brunswick resident in their 60s has died after developing blood clots after receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

They are the first person to die in New Brunswick from a vaccine-related cause.

The person received the AstraZeneca vaccine in mid-April and developed symptoms seven days later, a May 5 release from the province said.

They went to an emergency room for treatment and died two days later in hospital.

It is the second serious case of adverse effects from the vaccine, Dr. Jennifer Russell, the province's chief medical officer of health, said in the release.

However, Russell stressed that vaccine-related side effects, including low platelets and blood clots, continue to be rare.

“I offer my sincere condolences to the bereaved family and friends,” said Russell.

“Out of the hundreds of thousands of doses of AstraZeneca vaccine administered as part of the country’s massive vaccination campaign, there will be rare cases where thrombosis will occur. However, the risks remain minimal compared to the risks, complications and potential consequences of COVID-19.”

Public Health reminded New Brunswickers to seek immediate medical attention after receiving the AstraZeneca or Covishield vaccine if the following symptoms develop between four and 28 days after vaccination:

shortness of breath;
chest pain;
leg swelling;
persistent abdominal pain;
neurological symptoms, such as severe and persistent worsening headaches or blurred vision; or
skin bruising or tiny blood spots under the skin beyond the site of the injection

Alberta reported Tuesday that a woman in her 50s died after experiencing the rare blood clot condition after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Its the second case of blood clots and the first death of a patient after more than 253,000 doses of AstraZeneca were administered in the province, Alberta's chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said in a statement.

"While any death is tragic, it is important to remember that the risks of dying or suffering other severe outcomes from COVID-19 remain far greater than the risk following AstraZeneca vaccine," Hinshaw said.

AstraZeneca changes the name of its coronavirus vaccine after wave of blood clot deaths

The pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca is rebranding their COVID-19 vaccine as the public becomes aware of the dangerous side effects associated with the experimental vaccine.

They are calling their vaccine “Vaxzevria” now, changing it from the previously more generic name of “AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine.” Although the packaging may be different, the contents of the vaccine will remain the same.

The European Medicines Agency decided last week to allow the British-Swedish pharmaceutical giant to rebrand their COVID-19 shot as globalists attempt to salvage public support for the vaccines after adverse reactions have dominated the headlines.

Camilla Canepa: 18-year-old Italian woman develops blood clots, dead two weeks after experimental AstraZeneca shot

SESTRI LEVANTE, LIGURIA — An 18-year-old woman is dead, prompting many young people in her area to cancel their previous plans for injections.

Ms. Camilla Canepa received the first dose of experimental AstraZeneca viral vector DNA on May 25, according to several Italian media sources. It was an “open day” for anyone over the age of 18 to receive experimental injections, particularly AstraZeneca.

She checked into the emergency room at Lavagna Hospital on June 3, complaining of severe headaches and extreme light sensitivity. A CT scan and neurological tests found nothing, so doctors discharged her with an order to return in 15 days for further tests. But Ms. Canepa returned to the ER at San Martino Hospital in Genoa just two days later. She now suffered from paralysis in at least one part of her body.

Ms. Canepa was diagnosed with cavernous sinus thrombosis, meaning a blood clot in the space between the eye sockets and brain. It blocked the primary vein between the head and heart. Doctors also discovered that she was bleeding inside her brain. Ms. Canepa underwent two surgeries, one to remove the blood clot and the second to relieve pressure in her head caused by the bleeding. But the damage was too great to overcome.

Ms. Canepa passed away on June 10.

Aftermath and “prosecution”

Francesco Cozzi, chief prosecutor of Genoa, announced that his office opened a manslaughter investigation. However, he did not name any individuals subject to the investigation. Further, we’ve heard this manslaughter talk before from Italian prosecutors. Syracuse, Sicily prosecutors said they opened a manslaughter investigation after Navy officer Stefano Paternò died hours after the AstraZeneca shot. But nothing has come of it, nor the other announced manslaughter investigations throughout Italy related to the experimental shots.

Italian government officials announced a very strange policy after the death of Ms. Canepa. AstraZeneca shots will now only be administered to people over age 60. In other words, they are fine with older people developing blood clots and dying from experimental viral vector DNA shots, but are protecting younger people. The policy didn’t matter in the grand scheme. Hundreds of young Liguria residents cancelled their forthcoming AstraZeneca appointments as news of Ms. Canepa spread.

Liguria Governor Giovanni Toti told Ansa News that Canepa’s case is “not for point scoring” and that AstraZeneca recipients volunteer for the shots. Meanwhile the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) authorized the experimental Pfizer mRNA shots for people aged 12 to 15 on June 1. It is yet another strange policy that is apparently supposed to be altruistic, but is dangerous and detrimental to future and current generations of Italians.

Red Flags Soar As Big Pharma Will Be Exempt From COVID-19 Vaccine Liability Claims

Last week we warned readers to be cautious about new COVID-19 vaccines, highlighting how key parts of the clinical trials are being skipped as big pharma will not be held accountable for adverse side effects for administering the experimental drugs.

A senior executive from AstraZeneca, Britain's second-largest drugmaker, told Reuters that his company was just granted protection from all legal action if the company's vaccine led to damaging side effects.

"This is a unique situation where we as a company simply cannot take the risk if in ... four years the vaccine is showing side effects," said Ruud Dobber, a top exec at AstraZeneca.

"In the contracts we have in place, we are asking for indemnification. For most countries, it is acceptable to take that risk on their shoulders because it is in their national interest," said Dobber, adding that Astra and regulators were making safety and tolerability a top priority.

AstraZeneca is one of the 25 pharmaceutical companies across the world, testing experimental drugs that could be used to combat the deadly virus. And, of course, if testing yields positive results, AstraZeneca could manufacture hundreds of millions of doses, with no legal recourse if side effects are seen.

European officials told Reuters that product liability was a significant discussion to secure new vaccine drugs from Pfizer, Sanofi, and Johnson & Johnson.

As for the US, well, when it comes to the legal framework around vaccines, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) already has a law called the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act, which provides immunity to vaccine companies if something goes wrong.

With AstraZeneca, and many US big pharma companies rushing COVID-19 vaccines to market with governments granting them immunity if the vaccine has side effects, all suggest corporate elites and government regulators have very little faith in these drugs.

Ukrainian soldier dies after receiving Indian-made AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab - as army warns against drawing ‘premature conclusions’

Military medics in Ukraine have announced the death of a servicewoman who reportedly received a dose of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine, which has been the subject of a fierce row over claims it may be linked to blood clots.

In a statement released on Tuesday night, the country’s armed forces medical command issued a statement on Facebook claiming that an off-duty officer serving in a military unit in Odessa, in the south of the country, had received emergency care after losing consciousness.

“Military and civilian doctors carried out resuscitation measures at the scene,” it stated, “but this was unfortunately unsuccessful.” According to the statement, the soldier – named by local media on Wednesday as Inna Narozhnaya – had been serving in an anti-aircraft missile regiment on the Black Sea coast.

“In line with all protocols,” the military doctors said, “the soldier received vaccination against Covid-19 by a mobile health team from the Odessa Health Department.” According to local health service chiefs, the woman had no health complaints other than a history of hypertension. An autopsy will now take place, and the army officials warned public officials and the media “not to make premature conclusions about the circumstances of the soldier’s death.”

Reuters reported that this marks the first apparent inoculation-related death since Ukraine began its nationwide immunization campaign, having received 500,000 doses of Covishield, an Indian-made version of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Eastern European nation is currently battling a steep rise in the number of coronavirus cases, with its daily count of positive tests reaching 11,476 on Tuesday. However, the real number of infections is likely to be far higher. Over the same period, 333 people were reported to have died from Covid-19.

A number of EU member states suspended vaccination with AstraZeneca’s formula earlier this month over fears of a link to blood clots. Germany, France, Italy, and Spain have halted immunizations using the British company’s vials over these safety concerns. However, some experts have said the company’s data demonstrates there is no significant risk of adverse events, with the number of blood clots reported among those who had received the vaccine being lower than among the control group who had not.

Last week, Brussels’ medical regulator, the European Medicines Agency, stated after a review that “the vaccine is not associated with an increase in the overall risk of blood clots,” but that it “may be associated with very rare cases of blood clots associated with thrombocytopenia, i.e. low levels of blood platelets.”

27 YEAR OLD NURSE MEGI BAKRADZE, DIES AFTER RECEIVING ASTRAZENECA COVID VACCINE [2021-03-19]

27-year-old Georgian nurse Megi Bakradze died earlier today after being vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine in the city Akhaltsikhe.

Half an hour after receiving the injection on March 18, she went into anaphylactic shock and fell into a coma. She was transported to Tbilisi but doctors were unable to save her.

Bombshell: THAI KING OWNS 'Siam Bioscience' he may have wound up killing his family for profit!

The King of Thailand through the "Kings Crown Property Bureau" owns a company called "Siam Bioscience". That company produces the Astra Zeneca brand of the Covid Vaccine that has been pushed by the Thai government.

Thai king’s daughter remains unconscious weeks after collapsing
Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha remained unconscious more than three weeks after collapsing due to a heart problem, a palace statement said in an update on the health of the 44-year-old potential heir to the throne. The eldest child of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn lost consciousness on Dec. 15 due to severe heart arrhythmia resulting from inflammation following a mycoplasma infection, according to a statement issued by the palace.

‘British model’, 39, dies in Cyprus after falling into a coma days after receiving AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine

Stephanie Dubois, 39, died in Nicosia after receiving the first dose of the vaccine
She had a brain haemorrhage and was in a coma before her death on Saturday
Dubois was a British-born model who had been living in Cyprus for five months
Cyprus health officials are investigating four other cases of ‘mild’ blood clotting

A 39-year-old British model has died in a Cypriot hospital after a blood clotting incident after receiving the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

Stephanie Dubois was widely named as the deceased by close friends, colleagues, and local media.

Dubois suffered a brain haemorrhage and was in a coma before her death on Saturday.

Cypriot health authorities are investigating whether Dubois’s death was linked to the AstraZeneca jab. They are yet to confirm her identification.

The British-born model posted publicly about feeling ill after having the vaccine on May 6, saying she felt ‘horrendous’ after the first dose. She fell ill days later.

On May 14, Dubois made a second public post about her condition, revealing she had woken up with full body shakes, seized joints, dizziness, a headache, and that she was struggling to breathe.

She said she though she had contracted Covid-19 but had a test, which came back negative.

Tributes rushed in for the British born model, who had been living in Cyprus for the last five months.
